I have messed up sprouting sunflower seeds about six times now. I just started your method and I’m excited to see if I finally succeed. I will post an update! Thanks for your thorough walk-through.

Any suggestions about how to efficiently cut the sunflowers?

I wash out the trays with water then spray and soak 15min in a water mixed with hydrogen peroxide! I’m new so still finding the best process for me as an apartment small grower! For now!

The problem I have is with seeds I’m told I need to presoak! So far mold every single time I don’t know what to do?

My husband and I are wanting to start a microgreens business and you have been our number 1 guide to all things microgreens. We love your videos and you have been so helpful. I have one question on lights that I haven’t been able to find an answer too. I see you linked the Barrina LEDs and the Full Spectrum Sunblaster. Do you need both sets to grow? Or just one or the other?

So I live in the desert and things dry out at a much faster rate than I'm used to. Automating watering is literally one of the first things I'm doing, because it's hard to relearn

I don't think he mentioned how much light he gives the plants. Are the lights on 24/7, 12 hours per day, or what?

Toter-ly too much work. Those totes are going to break way too quickly and they are way too hard to maneuver. Better to just pay someone else to do it. We contract with a commercial waste removal service and it's pretty reasonable.

My trays have not been germinating around the sides but mostly top and bottom are sparse. Middles is great. Watering is even and then I cover with weight for 3-4 days and don’t water until I remove the weight. Too hot in my greenhouse now?

What does it mean if the top and bottom portion of my trays are slow to sprout? Everything else is sprouting. 3-4 days in blackout with weight and watering only on day 1
